Baby Matilda is HERE!
After a long wait, she has finally arrived! This beauty belongs to the maternity shoot from June with Jordan & Becca. Dressed in a few gorgeous heirlooms, baby Matilda (or Lily), wasnt too pleased to be the centre of attention today…(maybe it was all the costume changes..haha)but we caught some precious moments none the less! …and I got to steal a few snuggles too!

Dan & Laura are Married!!
This was a special treat for me, I grew up with Daniel and his sisters. Very cool to finally spend some time getting to know Laura too. Though an early 6:45 am formal shoot start for this non-morning person, the day went off quite well I`d say! There was threats of rain all day but we managed to miss it at every turn..thank you Lord! A great wedding party with two willing participants on either side, we had lots of fun in the river valley that morning with these outdoorsmen and survived the mosquitos as well . You can tell these two just loved to laugh together..awe! Congrats you guys!

Robert and Nancy tie the knot!
Our first ever Filipino/Canadian wedding! It was a neat twist on the cultural heritage of both the bride and groom, beautiful colors and a very large party! Because most of Nancy`s family was unable to come all the way from the Philippines she had the 4-year-old son of the family she nannies for walk her down the aisle! Awe….!! It was adorable. Very fun couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our day with them all.

Jordan & Becca are Expecting!
There isn`t much in life as exciting as expecting your first own offsping… It was super fun to get to photograph these two quirky pals of ours 5 weeks before they were due! Nice location and such a beautiful day at that, sun and just enough heat to give a rosey cheek. Good sports all around!

We are so excited to announce our first annual Photo Marathon as Attlea Photography! We are in the process of growing and expanding our photography portfolio and can’t think of a better way than offering fall photo shoots for 2 days in the beautiful fall leaves of the Edmonton river valley at a reduced price!

We are going to be in the valley all day both saturday the 24th and sunday the 25th of September and we have just added Sunday the 2nd of October as well. beginning at 11am and going until 6pm(or the sun sets). Weather permitting of course…
There is no restrictions on the type of photos you could be looking for, as in it could be a family shoot, baby, kids, couples, engagement or even a friends shoot..
The idea is that u will get approx 30-40mins of photographer time and a disk with your edited photos for $150(regular price for our engagement and family shoots is $250-$350).

Tamara & Kevin are married!
These two were a subject a few posts back. Adorable Cold lake/Westlock couple who really know how to party! It was a long weekend wedding for Conrad and I as it was out of town a few hrs. Taking place at a cute RV park in Westlock AB, rehearsal Friday with Wedding Saturday afternoon.
Friday Evening we took advantage of our childless weekend to play a round of golf at a very nice course just outside of the town, this being (sadly) my first game of the season…sucked for me…but Conrad had his best game EVER scoring an incredible 45 over 9 wholes! Frig…haha.
Anyways. We had a great weekend with the gang from the Barhead area. I’m not sure when the drinking started or when it ended as it never ceased during our stay. This made for some awesome moves on the dance floor captured on camera…Oh yes…we did get that! Along with nutty conversations and goodbyes…but it was a blast. Besides being insanely photogenic, you could tell that the whole HUGE(7 & 7)wedding party really cared for the Bride and Groom and we both got teary eyed during speeches, a little lame maybe, but we are softies through and through. They ended the night with one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, midnight floating lanterns! 16 of them! It was stunning…

The Millman Wedding!
So bless to be apart of this couple’s story! Matt & Vanessa met at Grant McEwan, both history buffs; such a cute beginning to their beautiful story.
The day of their Wedding was a bit dreg weather wise, rain and rain…but we made do indoors, taking advantage of the halls they met in, stairs they climbed and memories they made. The Wedding party was very inviting and full of fun ”happy go lucky” people who you could tell loved these two separate and together very much! At the reception we were seated with the bubbliest most warm family we have possibly ever met! The Page family was so great to make us feel at home, like we’d known them forever…they were a remarkably close tight-knit family for sure, something of a model of what we would like ours to be like when our kids are grown…can you write a book or teach a class please?!
The night couldn’t have closed any better than with having Dancing Nuns!! Yes, I said it…the cutest most unbelievably adorable Aunts of the Bride, they couldn’t resist the dance floor at the end of the night…maybe with a little help from a crazy uncle as well…checkout the photos~!

Art Walk 2011
This is the second year I have the privelage to be apart of the Edmonton Art Walk down on Whyte Avenue. It was a slow weekend until Sunday afternoon when things began to rapidly take off… and the weather was unbelievably beautiful! It’s always great meeting great people and other fabulous artist.
